shortly into the day today I entered state number 5, Connecticut. nothing too exciting about it. the signs are a nice olive color and... that is about it. stopped for lunch in salisberry and had to fill up the rest of the belly with ben and jerrys from the store. was making great time until there was a stupid detour on the trail. it took us way out of the way and we had to hitch backwards. now I am camping in a back yard of a cafe in falls village. had some soda from the package store and ordered a pizza. some of the last nortbounders are staying here too. won't be seeing them for much longer. kent , ct tomorrow and then new york. smell ya later new england.
